Canadian Construction Association
Established in 1918, Canadian Construction Association’s (CCA) vision is to build Canada with ethics, skills and responsibility. CCA’s mission is to be the national voice for the Canadian construction industry.
Members firms join CCA through their local or provincial construction associations and are entitled to numerous membership benefits including standard documents, construction guides, as well as updates on federal public policy and regulatory requirements.
Across Canada, CCA represents more than 20,000 members firms drawn from 64 local and provincial integrated partner associations. CCA gives voice to the public policy, legal and standards development goals of contractors, suppliers and allied business professionals working in, or with, Canada’s non-residential construction industry.
British Columbia Construction Association
The British Columbia Construction Association (BCCA) represents 2000 companies working in the institutional, commercial and industrial construction sectors of our province. Advocating to foster an economic and political climate to promote growth, competition and success for our industry, the BCCA also provides technologies and services to support BC construction businesses of all sizes. BCCA members are business owners and leaders from across our industry. General and trade contractors, manufacturers, suppliers, allied services, owners and developers, work together to insure key issues are known and understood by decision makers and stakeholder groups. These efforts include a focus on procurement, skilled workforce, safety, and ethics.
Vancouver Island Construction Association
As the Vancouver Island Construction Association (VICA), we serve our construction community: the institutional, commercial, industrial, civil, and multi-residential construction sectors on Vancouver Island, the Gulf Islands, and other coastal areas of British Columbia. VICA members come from all areas of our construction community from owners, architects, and engineers to consultants and contractors. We’re made up of a diverse group of individuals — women, men, young, and old — that bring unique skills and experience to the workforce. Together, we contribute to the dynamic construction industry in BC!
BCCSA - Large COR Certified
The Certificate of Recognition (COR) is a voluntary incentive program that recognizes companies who develop and implement health and safety and injury management systems that meet an industry standard. The program rewards employers who take a strategic approach to workplace safety and are committed to reducing both the human and financial costs of workplace injuries. COR certification is offered by WorkSafeBC and delivered through Certifying Partners . The BCCSA is the COR Certifying Partner for employers in the construction industry.
