The construction of 1,210 metres of 200mm HDPE water supply main from the Anderson Creek Dam to Matilda Inlet near Ahousaht, B.C. The work includes but is not limited to:
- 1,210 metres of water mains
- 1,126 metres of access road construction
- Rock blasting, crushing, screening
- Bridge construction
- Shoreline embankment construction requiring the supply and placement of 52,000 tonnes of rock fill to extend shoreline for construction of a new Ferry Passenger Terminal building.
- Work was tide sensitive
- Rock fill was supplied from a local rock quarry owned and operated by Hazelwood
- Demolition and removal of existing wharf
- Supply and installation of drainage piping and outfall structures
