Municipal infrastructure project for District of Sooke involving upgrades to Charters Rd between Golledge Ave and Troup Road. Works include storm, water, and sani force main upgrades, road reconstruction with new curbs and sidewalks, the removal of failing CSP culverts and replacement with culvert box culvert and stream bed riprap upgrades, construction of 650 m2 of redi rock concrete block retaining wall to 8m high, disposal and replacement of significant volumes of contaminated soil.
Project involves underground utility upgrades including installation of new watermain, sanitary sewer and storm sewer with associated new services to properties. There is also approximately 60 meters of sanitary sewer main re-lining works to be done by folded/formed PVC trenchless operations. Upgrades to surface infrastructure including curbing, sidewalks and roadways.

- Infrastructure generally includes removals, earthworks, road works, storm sewer, utility relocations, street lighting and landscaping.
Excavation for 2 ownhouse buildings approximately 7000 ft2 each. Ultimately expected to be 3X as there are 6 buildings to do, but for the moment the contract is for 2.
- Replacement of sanitary sewer with the installation of approx 550m pipe, associated fittings, service connections and tie-ins including a 50mm dia pressurized connection.
- Replacement of watermain with the installation of approx 135lm pipe, associated fittings, service connections and tie-ins.
- Re-grading of ditching, installation of 125lm 375mm culverts + headwalls & cbs.
- Installation of 46m of curb & 758m2 of 100mm/150mm sidewalk, and 1430m2 of 125mm paving.
Replacement of approximately 530m of existing watermain with new PVC watermain, associated fittings, service connections and tie-ins. Repair and restoration of the associated lengths of road including approximately 2,900m2 of new asphalt paving.

Run of the River hydro project for Dzawada’enuxw First Nation.
- Installation of concrete intake and weir structure.
- Reactivation and construction of approximately 2.2km of access road, with geotechnically stabilized retaining walls
- Installation of approximately 1,300m of 500mm HDPE Penstock
- Construction of powerhouse and tailrace discharge structure. Including blasting, excavation, concrete pouring, installation of CLT timber powerhouse superstructure and 5 tonne overhead gantry crane.
- Installation of mechanical equipment including 350 KW turbine-generator and ancillary equipment.
Road access to NPA, Vancouver Island Ferry and Heliport along with streetlighting, storm, sani and water upgrades and the creation of additional parking lot area for Vehicle Processing Centre.
