SCOPE OF THE WORK

• Recontouring of a 5 Ha mine waste stockpile followed by a 5 Ha, 1m thick, layered rock, soil and topsoil cap.
• Excavation and onsite relocation of 52,000 m3 of stockpiled mine waste.
• Grubbing and grinding 17 Ha of wood debris, respread over the site at the end of the job..
• Stripping stockpiling and relocation of 15,000m3 of topsoil.
• Drilling and blasting 29,000 m3 of rock, come with excavation and relocation onsite.
• 90,000 m3 of common excavation come with relocation onsite.
• 300mm, 450mm and 600mm culverts and concrete headwalls and 4000lm of ditching.

All of this work is being completed to prepare the groundwork for future roads in a proposed 130-lot subdivision on Snuneymuxw’s IR#3 .
