A private contract has been awarded to Hazelwood Construction Services Inc. for the Village on Third Off-Site project in Nanaimo.

The work comprises of roadworks and utility upgrades on Third Street, Hillcrest Avenue and Wakesiah Avenue – approximately 550m. The work package includes the following: watermain, storm sewer and sanitary sewer
upgrades; new services to property line; roadway reprofiling; frontage works; curbs; sidewalks; street lighting; underground hydro/tel/cable works; landscaping, and associated appurtenances.
